About you

Seeking an experienced store person that enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be joining our warehouse located in Northgate. You will be highly motivated, organised and a team player wanting to make a difference in improving our systems procedures and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Receipt of local and overseas goods

• Unpacking, packing, and inspection of incoming goods

• Packing and dispatching of goods sold

• Warehousing and allocation of stock

• Organizing freight and loading and unloading of goods

• Operation of forklift

• General warehouse duties – Maintenance and cleaning

• Carry out additional ad hoc duties as requested

You will have:

• Drivers license and own transport preferred

• Forklift license

• Experience operating a forklift

• Basic computer skills

• Previous experience within a similar role desirable

• Strong work ethic and safety focus

Internal Sales / Warehouse Manager

Invertek Drives is Australia’s leading supplier of electronic variable speed drives, electric motors and gearboxes. We currently have a permanent position for an Internal Sales / Store Manager at our Northgate Head Office.

Working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm.

The role includes all facets of Customer Service including telephone and counter sales, order entry and processing as well as managing our busy warehouse which will include forklift operation, overseeing assembly, picking and packing of orders.

Inventory management is another critical aspect of this role.


To be successful in this important new role you will possess the following:

• Excellent phone manner and Sales experience

• Mechanical and electrical experience preferred

• Be computer literate

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Not afraid of manual labour

• Fork Lift License (essential)
